Our History

We opened a studio gym in King of Prussia in 2016. We offered open gym memberships, personal training, and small group classes. Later, we moved operations into our home, where we continued helping people become stronger to lead happier, healthier lives. 

We're changing our business model after nearly 8 years of providing personal training. We love teaching, and we want to show you how to train safely and effectively so that you can become your own coach.

Perhaps you’ve heard the ancient proverb, "Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime." Taking ownership of your training, while more challenging than letting someone spoonfeed you every set and rep, will pay a lifetime of dividends.

Why Strength Train?

Strength is for every body (see what we did there?).

It comes in all shapes and sizes. Regardless of your particular stage in life, weight training is a quality-of-life game changer.

 

We all know the importance of strength training for athletes. But being strong is just as important in everyday activities like carrying mulch bags from your car to the yard, chasing your kids through the park, and moving awkward furniture by yourself. Like a fountain of youth, common aches and pains caused by being weak and out of shape also disappear with regular training. 

 

Many people, however, don’t know how to do it properly. That's where we come in. Each person has a unique definition of what strength means to them. We’re here to help you build whatever strength you need.

Demystifying
Strength Training

Training shouldn't be complicated. With the right guidance, most people can learn compound barbell lifts, foundational kettlebell movements, and programming strategies in a few sessions. Once you know the basics, you can start coaching yourself and check in with us occasionally to fine-tune your technique and program.

 

Stop paying for expensive personal training. We help people of all ages and athletic abilities experience the many benefits of strength training in a safe and supportive environment. Most importantly, we instill in you the skills and confidence to do it on your own.
